The Toolkit also offers help to family members and caregivers of those who suffer from mood disorders, and all people who wish to understand bipolar illnesses, depressions, and related disorders. Active Minds
Active Minds has become the premier nonprofit organization impacting college students and mental health. Now on more than 600 campuses, we directly reach close to 600,000 students each year through campus awareness campaigns, events, advocacy, outreach, and more. Our consistent message, amplified by more than 15,000 students each year, is that mental health needs to be talked about as easily as physical health. Only then can we bring suicide and mental health into the open so no one struggles alone.

The Jed Foundation
JED is a nonprofit that exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. We’re partnering with high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention programs and systems. We’re equipping teens and young adults with the skills and knowledge to help themselves and each other. We’re encouraging community awareness, understanding and action for young adult mental health.
